The Vizibles at Stadschouberg

There is no visual material for this project available online at this moment. What I can say is that it is the juxtaposition of moving patterns (Aaron Israel(me) with painted image (Dimitri Madimin). The project was for a closing celebration of a media festival at the Stadschouberg, arranged by Submarine a cross media production studio.

The Vizibles at Papaya

The Vizibles started as a VJ project that begun with branding Papaya a promotion at the BitterZoet Amsterdam. It is experimental typoillustration from myself and accompanies photography. The graphics is a regurgitation of fashion and design seen in the street or the surrounding environment and usese typography to the xtreme that the forms become patterns and suggestive. The film originally ran at a slower speed of 10 seconds per frame. The film has been speeded up for fast viewing.

Ghetto Blaster

An iconographic symbol and pictured beyond its conventional limit. The original image taken from the 'Hip-Hop Files' front cover, decondstructing the music machine useing xylophone horns to reconstruct the ghetto blaster. The xylophone could be seen as the early day ghetto blaster although not conventionally found in a modern day city ghetto. The origins of the word have an interesting history.
